Memorizing long pieces is a challege for many students as they move out of beginner pieces.  Rote practice, while it can work, is very boring and time consuming.  Here, I describe a memorization technique that students can practice without the keyboard.  This technique reduces practice time at the piano, making learning piano more pleasurable.
